The R-3090 Water Trough is standard with the Tormek T-8 Original and Tormek T-8 Custom and is tailored to fit these specific models.
Magnetic Scraper for Enhanced Cleaning
Included with the R-3090 Water Trough is a scraper equipped with a built-in magnet, designed to capture steel particles during the sharpening process. This feature helps to maintain the cleanliness of the grinding wheel and prevents the clogging that can occur when particles embed in the wheel’s surface, potentially compromising its abrasive efficiency. After use, these collected particles can be swiftly removed by detaching the magnetically adhering scraper and cleaning off the steel debris. Note that the magnetic scraper is not included with the R-3090 Water Trough and should be retained from your previous trough if available.
