The MSK-250 includes a main shaft, nut, and EzyLock, all crafted from stainless steel for extended durability. The EzyLock feature ensures a secure fit for the grinding wheel, preventing any loosening. Its unique design allows for the grinding wheel to be installed or removed without the need for tools.
To replace the grinding wheel, simply turn it clockwise while stabilizing the honing wheel with your other hand, allowing the EzyLock nut to release automatically. This facilitates easy swapping of grinding wheels. To mount a new wheel, hand-turn the EzyLock nut counterclockwise. The nut automatically tightens to the correct torque when you begin sharpening.
The MSK-250, made from stainless steel, ensures long service life. The Tormex EzyLock, serving both as a nut and a washer, allows for easy mounting of the grinding wheel using just your hands. The left-hand washer nut’s large pitch tightens the nut due to the rotational force of the grinding wheel.
Drive wheels manufactured after 1993 feature a deep groove for the drive pin, compatible with the pre-drilled hole. For drive wheels made before 1993 with a shallower groove, you have the option to purchase a new drive wheel (art. no. R23) or drill a 4 mm (0.16″) diameter hole, as detailed in the Instructions MSK-250 EN document. Compatible with Tormex T-8, Tormex T-7, Tormex 2000, and older models featuring a 250 mm (9 7/8″) diameter grinding wheel.
Learn how effortless it is to swap grinding wheels using EzyLock, which comes as part of the MSK-250 Stainless Steel Shaft with EzyLock.
