Its versatility is appreciated across various sharpening tasks, particularly by woodturners for its ability to provide a smooth finish without compromising on speed.
Simplified Repeat Sharpening
Thanks to its durable construction and consistent abrasive power, the DF-250 remains round and flat, streamlining the sharpening process for repeated tasks. Its constant diameter is a boon for those who regularly sharpen the same tools, offering ease in jig setting and process repeatability.
Achieving a Perfectly Flat Bevel
The DF-250’s design allows for sharpening on both the wheel’s side and upper surface, facilitating a completely flat bevel, particularly beneficial for smaller tools. For side sharpening, the MB-102 Multi Base, coupled with the appropriate jig, provides additional support and control, ensuring precision and ease throughout the sharpening process.
Rust Protection for Enhanced Longevity
Included with every diamond grinding wheel is 150 ml of ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate, essential for preventing rust and extending the wheel’s life. When used with water, this not only prolongs the wheel’s durability but also enhances the sharpening experience, making it smoother and more effective. The option to sharpen without water remains, providing flexibility based on your needs and preferences.
The DF-250 Diamond Wheel Fine is a testament to Tormek’s commitment to excellence in sharpening technology. Its ability to efficiently remove material while delivering a smooth, polished finish makes it an indispensable tool for professionals and enthusiasts alike. With its exceptional durability and versatility, the DF-250 ensures that your tools are not only sharp but also have a finish that enhances their performance and longevity.

REVIEWS
Statements from Tormek Friends
I've been using Tormek's diamond grinding wheels for over two years for both my production and my teaching, and it's delivered some really fantastic results in that time. I especially like the fact that the surface stays flat all the time, and that I always get a perfectly sharpened edge in no time. I've found I get much better results when I grind using water as a lubricant, which also keeps the wheel clean without further maintenance.
Using Tormek diamond wheels is a dream come true. Personally, I still prefer to use water because it keeps both the tool's edge and the grinding wheel clean, but dry sharpening works just as well. The fact that it doesn't rust and that no truing of the grinding wheel is necessary is a big plus, and with three grit sizes to choose from, this is an excellent addition to the
Tormek range.
